Our Church Ministries and Fellowships in Leeds, Yorkshire

Discover the work of our church ministries and fellowships at the Leeds Assembly of The Apostles' Continuation Church International. Following the teachings of the Bible, (Timothy 4:6-16; Timothy 2:14-26; Timothy 3:10-17) we take responsibility for spreading the Word of God throughout Leeds, Yorkshire. Children's Ministry

The Children’s Ministry of the Leeds Assembly holds a range of services to sustain children’s interest in the service of God. From fellowship, prayer, and study meetings to periodic competitions, quizzes, and activities, our Children’s Ministry strives to enhance children’s spiritual growth.

Youth Ministry

Working in fellowship with young people aged 12 – 18 years old, the Youth Ministry of the Leeds Assembly encourages the youth to participate in our assembly’s programmes and activities. As well as carrying out evangelism, i.e. preaching, witnessing, and winning souls) we arrange periodic competitions, quizzes, and related activities to keep young people engaged.

Men's fellowship

Catering to men aged 18 and up, the Men’s Fellowship of the Leeds Assembly is responsible for enhancing the spiritual growth of members within the assembly, which we achieve by arranging:

  • Seminars, Workshops, Lectures, and Symposia on All Aspects of Life, such as:

  • Leadership

  • Marriage

  • Child Welfare

  • Education

  • Business Management

  • Evangelism, including Preaching, Witnessing, and Winning Souls

  • Periodic Meetings and Activities to Sustain Interest in the Service of God

Women's Fellowship

The Women’s Fellowship of the Leeds Assembly holds periodic meetings and activities to sustain interest in the service of God. Suitable for women aged 18 and over, our meetings include:

  • Seminars, Workshops, Lectures, and Symposia on All Aspects of Life, such as:

  • Leadership

  • Marriage

  • Child Welfare

  • Education

  • Business Management

  • Evangelism, including Preaching to the Unsaved and Breaking New Ground for the Establishment of New Assemblies

  • Activities to Enhance Women’s Spiritual Growth

Music Ministry

“Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! Sing to the Lord, all the earth” (Psalm 96:1)
“Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph!” (Psalm 47:1)
“… teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord” (Colossians 3:16)

These biblical verses summarise the responsibilities of our Music Ministry. Comprising vocally and instrumentally skilled men and women (1 Chronicles 25:1-8), the Music Ministry uses musical performances and instruments to give praise, thanks, exaltation, and blessing to the name of God forever.

Ushering Ministry

The Ushering Ministry of the Leeds Assembly ensures that congregants are welcomed in a hospitable manner and that services are held in a pleasurable environment. Thus, this Ministry is responsible for the maintaining order and discipline within the church premises during church services as well as handling queries from worshippers.

OTHER OFFICES

Caretaker and Security Officer – Prince Maxwell Marfo, the Caretaker and Security Officer, is responsible for overseeing the security and the upkeep of the church premises, including general cleaning and maintenance of sanitation.

Maintenance Officer – Francis Aka is our Maintenance Officer, and is responsible for monitoring, repairing, and replacing fittings and undertaking minor installation works as and when required.

Designated Safeguarding Officer and Liaison Officer – Dickson Acheampong, the Designated Safeguarding Officer and Liaison Officer, is responsible for respectively:

  • Taking Steps to Ensure That Good Practice to Protect Children is Observed throughout the Leeds Assembly

  • Liaising with External Organisations with regards to Some Projects Undertaken By the Leeds Assembly
